Stand Up and Fight for Our Future

Today, Governor Quinn stood before the General Assembly and delivered the State of the State Address.  He described the accomplishments and challenges of the past year, and he laid out his vision for Illinois in 2010.

Nearly one year ago, Governor Quinn took the oath of office and was sworn in as the 41st Governor of the State of Illinois.

Since that time of crisis, the Governor has signed over 800 bills into law, and has restored honor, integrity, and efficiency to the governor’s office.

  • He signed Illinois Jobs Now!, the state’s first comprehensive public works plan in more than a decade, creating thousands of jobs for citizens statewide.
  • He offered no nonsense solutions to our budget crisis.
  • He made reform a continuing priority – passing initiatives that would make legislators responsible to their constituents, not special interest groups.

Today, with 20 days left until the February 2nd Primary, we need your help
